PREP NOTES
Full of healthy fats & lots of cruciferous greens, your body & brain will thank you. Perfect for summer but great for any time of the year, it makes the perfect side dish for even the pickiest of eaters.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup cold pressed mayonnaise (I use Primal Avocado Oil Mayo)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper (to taste)
- 1 tsp ground sea salt (to taste)
- 6 cup broccoli- cut into bite size pieces
- 2 cups red or black grapes sliced in half
- 6 slices of bacon- cooked & diced
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds
- 1/4 cup red onion- diced
DIRECTIONS
- In large mixing bowl, mix together broccoli, mayo & apple cider vinegar.
- Mix in the slivered almonds, bacon, grapes, onion, salt & pepper.
NOTES
- I like to add crushed walnuts instead of slivered almonds & sometimes depending on my company, I do not add nuts.
- Feel free to add mixed greens & tomatoes too!
- Another brand of mayonnaise I like is Chosen Avocado Oil Mayo.
